My time in Tanzania is coming to an end. It’s hard to believe that another twelve months have nearly passed. Your girl is getting nervous because I am unsure about my next move. Folks report that the job market is competitive and that people search on average for six to twelve months for employment. I’ve got three months before I fly out, so I feel the pressure, and I’m trying to manage the stress by using this time to reflect on earlier experiences and consider what I want to do next. Enrolling in online courses to learn new skills and revitalize others seems wise. My resume needs polishing, too. There’s a significant amount of downtime at the village this month due to the low season, but our volunteer numbers will pick up toward the end of the month.

For those who have consistently followed this blog, you know that I love Zambia. So, I am considering opportunities there and back home. I know that the next ninety days will move swiftly, so I am using every day until then to prepare myself to become a competitive candidate in the tough job market.
